Once you get familiar with bitcoin it becomes as easy to use as PayPal or Skrill but there is an initial learning curve. The whole thing can feel a bit alien at first but it really is worth investing a little time to familiarise yourself with this new peer-to-peer payment technology. This is an excellent video tutorial for sports bettors, poker players or casino gamers who want a simple step-by-step instructions on...
    1. How to buy bitcoin from an exchange in the United States.
    2. How to set-up your first bitcoin wallet and transfer your newly bought bitcoin there.
    3. How to open an account at a bitcoin sportsbook and send your BTC there.
    4. How to withdraw your BTC from your sports betting account back to your wallet.

nice tutorial. they recommend using blockchain.info but why can't i just send my bitcoin directly from coinbase or any bitcoin exchange directly to a poker room or bookmaker?

Because Coinbase/GDAX are based in the United States and as a result they have to follow every rule and regulation in the book or they'll be going to jail. Since online gambling is illegal in most US states, Coinbase can't be seen to be profiting by servicing offshore sportsbooks. For this reason, you should always use a "middle man" wallet to create a buffer between where you bought your coins and where you gamble them.

Every poker room and sportsbook so invest in one of these videos for their players. Enough money is not being invested to help technophobes master bitcoin.

i don't understand why gambling sites recommend blockchain.info. breadwallet and mycelium are far superior.
