Despite bullish predictions from people like Calvin Ayre, many still believe that bitcoin and crypto-currencies are just fads or pyramid scheme scams. They think bitcoin bookmakers and casinos are merely exit scams that will eventually run off with their money. The recent sale of Bitcoin.Casino for almost $30,000 might persuade many that bitcoin gaming is indeed big business and bitcoin gambling is here to stay.

The domain is currently just operating as an affiliate site with reviews of various BTC casinos. After making such a substantial investment that is likely to change and the new owners will probably use the domain to launch an online casino. Dot casino domains are relatively new and typically don't rank as well as .Net and .Com in Google and Bing search results so we'll just have a wait and see whether this $28k investment will pay off or not.

$28k is a lot for a domain but it's till pretty tiny compared to what you would pay for a .com gambling domain.

It's surely only a matter of time before there is a .btc domain extension. Then everyone will be fighting over poker.btc and casino.btc.

Yes, these domains will worth a formation but I think .crypto extension might be worth even more since they are less specific.

.com domains will ALWAYS be worth more that these type of industry specific domain extensions. The only reason anyone buys them is because the .com is gone.

$28k isn't that much when you consider that a single bitcoin is now worth over $11,000.

my guess is that a single bitcoin will be worth more than $28,000 this year so this seems like a solid investment to me.
