Why don't more gambling sites accept Litecoin?

Litecoin has cheaper fees and faster confirmation times so why don't more bookmakers and poker sites accept it? A year ago most of my bitcoin deposits were confirmed within 20 minutes but for the past few months it has taken a couple of hours. Bitcoin transaction fees seem to have jumped from about 20 cent to 50 cent in the same amount of time. Litecoin transactions cost a couple of cent and confirm in a couple of minutes.

I suspect many more will if the bitcoin scaling debate is not settled soon. BetOnline BTC friendly sportsbook and poker room have recently begun accepting bitcoin.

I recently started paying for my VPN using litecoin because it didn't make sense to pay a $2 fee to pay a $10 bill with bitcoin.

DirectBet used to accept litecoin (and Dash and Dogecoin) until they closed last month. I guess there's not huge demand for altcoin sports betting yet.

Litecoin have large blocks, zero congestion, 2 minute confirmations and a proven track record. It would make more sense for people to use Litecoin than Bcash/Bitcoin Cash.

i bought a lot of litecoin after segwit activated because i was expecting the price to skyrocket but it didn't which was disappointing. the price of bitcoin has gone up 30% though so i think i missed out on some easy profit there.

I fear that Bitcoin Cash might steal Litecoins thunder as the silver to bitcoin's gold. I wouldn't be surprised if bookmakers and poker rooms start integrating BCC first.

Is mbet.io the only sportsbook to accept Litecoin?

Bitcoin fees are on the rise again this week. I paid about $1 for a $20 transaction. If that continues or gets worse then we could see more gambling sites accepting and encouraging their users to use Litecoin and other altcoins.

Hopefully the Lightning Network will advance enough over the next year to keep fees down.

The price of Litecoin has been rising steadily over the past few weeks because the Litecoin halving happens in July or August of 2019 (basically next month). This means that the supply of new LTC coins will halve. This supply shock typically sends the price skyrocketing so it would be a good time to buy some LTC now.
