I've been using Nitrogen Sports for over a year now and while their live betting sucks and their grading has slowed, they're still one of my favourite sportsbooks out there. However, this morning I got this email.... "I hope this ticket finds you well. We are contacting you regarding your most recent withdrawal request. After a deep review from our team, we found that your location overlaps with other accounts. We would like to remind you the following information from our rules: Multiple Accounts. No multiple Accounts. As detailed above under the "user accounts" section, the use of multiple accounts by the same Nitrogen user/player is considered fraudulent and is prohibited." Based on this information your poker access has been disabled. Going forward, if you agree to use only one account, then we will unblock your account from poker on this account and we will allow your withdraws. Please keep in mind, if we find multi-accounting activity going forward, your accounts will be blocked and the funds may be seized. We will be expecting your reply in regards to the above assessment." I have never had more than one account at Nitrogen so I don't know how they can think this. On a couple of occasions when I visit their home page, I accidentally clicked on the "Create New Anonymous Account" button rather than the login button so could this be what they are talking about? Should I withdraw my funds and close the account? I like Nitrogen but I don't want to lose a a few hundred dollars too.
If you have done nothing wrong and there are other players using the same IP address as you then it's very likely that you will get a second warning and maybe your funds will be seized at this point. To be cautious, I would move my funds out of that account just to be on the safe side. Opening a new account that doesn't already have a written warning against it is probably the best strategy.
why would they care that you have more than one account? it's not as if they are offering a deposit bonus.
I think they get pissed about people creating multiple accounts to take part in their poker freerolls.
do you allow any of your friends to logon to their nitrogen accounts from your machine. sharing machines for gambling can be risky because two different cookies will be generated for each player.
This is a very good point, never allow someone to share your computer, phone or tablet to use a sportsbook or poker room or you may get your account locked. If you have to share a device, then use a different browser for each user so the cookies will be different. If you use the same browser then you'll have cookies from different users clashing and that's probably why they will think you are using multiple accounts.
if more than 2 people are using the same computer to use a poker site or bookmaker then you should always delete the cookies from your browser to make it harder for them to know.
