5Dimes have been a firm favourite of U.S. sports betting fans because they offer more competitive lines than bookies like Bovada who reply more on slick design and large advertising campaigns. 5Dimes has long had the reputation of being the sportsbook of choice for many professional gamblers. Sports fans in the United States will be glad to hear that 5Dimes have now added bitcoin to their list of traditional banking options.

Here are the basics of using bitcoin at 5Dimes.
    • 5Dimes apply zero fees to sports punters who opt to use BTC to deposit and withdraw.
    • The minimum BTC deposit you can make is at 5Dimes is $25 and the maximum is $10,000.
    • The lowest bitcoin payout at 5Dimes is $50 and the maximum withdrawal is $10,000.
    • Even players who have never deposited with BTC can withdraw up to $5,000 in BTC every week.
    • Once you've added bitcoin to your 5Dimes account, it will be instantly converted to dollars.
    • All wagers are in dollars and United States gamblers are welcome.

It seems that pretty much all the major off-shore bookies now accept bitcoin. Are there any that still haven't added bitcoin support?

The Greek still hasn't added bitcoin to their cashier but we've been told it will be available in February or March 2017.

Bitcoin payouts at 5Dimes seem to be pretty fast in our experience. I requested my last payout at 9 in the morning. I received the confirmation email shortly after and the bitcoin was in my wallet by the late afternoon. Bovada and BetOnline typically take a couple of days at least so that's impressive.

What has been your experience of the 5Dimes bitcoin service?

The Greek were rumoured to be adding btc a couple of months ago but it never happened.

Heritage Sports do support bitcoin now.

Given how cheap bitcoin transactions are right now, there is very little incentive for them to add additional cryptocurrencies right now. With Lightning Network just around the corner, I doubt they will ever need to add Litecoin or Ethereum.

Sadly the owner of 5dimes was kidnapped and killed after Christmas. They were looking for 5 million ransom, the family paid 1 and they still killed him.
