Americas Cardroom are one of our recommend bitcoin friendly poker rooms because they are part of the popular Winning Poker Network, they have high traffic, great poker software and free bitcoin payouts and deposits. They started accepting BTC over a year ago and they have been so impressed with how popular it is, they are now adding support for over 60 more crypto-currencies. Initially you will only be able to deposit with these cryptos but they also plan to enable withdrawals in the near future. Until then, you are free to request payouts in bitcoin or the U.S. dollars. Major coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, Zcash, Litecoin, Dash and Bitcoin Cash will all be supported in addition to some less well known coins....

This is such a big deal that Forbes has even done a story on Americas Cardroom accepting new crypto-currencies. The main points from the article are that....
    • Americas Cardroom added Bitcoin as a cashier option back in 2014. They were the largest poker room to being accepting the cryptocurrency at that point.
    • ACR players have positively received BTC because of lower fees and faster processing times.
    • Regardless of which crypto you use to deposit, they will all be immediately converted in the US dollar in your player account.
    • ACR warn that crypto gamblers need to be careful where they deposit their funds because a lot of poker sites have shut down over the past few years and taken their players funds with them. In general, small crypto brands are more dangerous than large poker rooms like Americas Cardroom.
    • Americas Cardroom has climbed to 7 position in the list of the worlds busiest poker rooms.

If you have Bitcoin Cash you'll be glad to hear that Bovada now accepts Bcash.

It has taken Americas Cardroom a while to develop a real money poker app but thankfully they finally seem to be making progress. While tournaments and cash games aren't available yet, they have added JackPoker poker for iPhone and Android.

I'm glad they are finally getting around to developing a mobile poker app but it seems ridiculous it has taken this long when you consider that Full Tilt released the world's first real money poker app about 8 years ago. What the hell took them so long.

BetOnline have the best crypto poker app in my opinion. Full tournaments and ring games on both android and iphone.

While they may accept a ton of cryptocurrencies, we are sorry to report that Americas Cardroom is no longer available in Australia. Americas Cardroom is part of the Winning Poker Network (along with Black Chip Poker) and for legal reasons the network decided to join the Chico Poker Network (BetOnline) in withdrawing from Australia. Thankfully for Australian poker players, one room on the Pai Wang Luo decided to stay and that was Ignition Poker. You can read more about how to play Ignition Poker in Australia on this review page.

I wonder do all of these 65 cryptocurrencies still exist or has the crypto winter killed a few.
