So now that you can no longer buy or sell bitcoin at Circle.com, which bitcoin exchanges and brokerage services are United States sports bettors using? It sucks that Circle have withdrawn this service because I was able to move money between my US bank account and my Circle account in just a couple of clicks. Are there any other U.S. friendly bitcoin exchanges that have similar tight integration with banks in the USA?

If you are based in the United States then Coinbase.com is probably your best option for buying and selling bitcoin. They have a pretty stringent KYC/AML process but once your account has been approved, you can easily add a U.S. bank account to fund your BTC buying/selling.

You can buy and sell bitcoin from inside the Airbitz wallet using the Glidera (soon to be renamed Kraken Direct). This service is available in 49 US states and in Canada.

In Australia you can buy bitcoin over the counter for cash at about 1300 participating newsagents. The systems already exist in these stores where you can pay bill, buy gift cards or fund your Ladbrokes account via an iPad at the checkout. Adding bitcoin sales was as easy as adding a bitcoin option to the iPad.

You should try Paxful and Localbitcoins. Their volume has gone through the roof in the past year. You won't have your account locked on these sites either if you use the coins for online gambling.

I can second the recommendation for Localbitcoin and Paxful for those who don't want to go through KYC and AML bullshit. The coins can't be traced back to you so you can do whatever you like with them.

No, for now the Amex bitcoin purchasing option is only available in the United States. I think they are still trialling it so I could see it getting rolled out in Canada and some European countries if there are no major problems.

Circle have bought Poloniex so I'm guessing that they have changed their minds and will be selling crypto again soon...
