I used the play at mBit until they started to block United States casino gamers. They were one of the earliest bitcoin casinos so I felt safe playing there. Then I moved onto BitStarz until they too blocked gamblers from the United States. Do any major cryptocurrency casinos still accept real money players from the United States of America? Any recommendations guys?

Yes, it's unfortunate that well known and trusted cryptocurrency casinos like mBit and BitStarz no longer accept gamblers from the United States. Thankfully there are still a few very good options open to anyone looking to play casino games with bitcoin in the United States. Here are a couple that I would recommend.

Bitcoin Penguin have been around since 2015 and are based in Costa Rica where they are regulated and licensed.. They have a solid management team that has years of experience in both bricks-and-mortar and online casinos.
    • Bitcoin Penguin welcome gamblers from the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom and any other country with restrictive gambling policies.
    • They offer "Provably Fair" games so you no longer need to trust the casinos. You can check for yourself that games are truly random.
    • Accepted cryptocurrencies include Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero, Dash, Ethereum, and Zcash.
    • They offer "Live" games of poker, roulette, baccarat, blackjack, spin the wheel, dice, Caribbean Stud, Texas Hold'em and more.
    • They have recently added a high-quality sportsbook for those who also like to wager on sports with crypto.
    • At the time of writing their main casino offers games from over 17 different providers, offering hundreds of different slots and table games.
    • Bitcoin Penguin offer excellent (and friendly) customer support by email, live chat or social media.
    • The crypto-casino is available in Russian, English, Swedish, Turkish, Chinese and Japanese.
    • Register and they'll give you 25 free spins and you don't even need to deposit.
    • At the end of each month they'll give you up to 20% of your losses back.

BitCoin are another old school bitcoin casino that still welcomes real money gamblers from the United States. They are based in Costa Rica and follow all the rules and regulations there to operate a fully licensed gaming company.
    • Crypto gamble from anywhere on the planet, Australian, Canadian and American players welcome.
    • Accepts all the main cryptocurrencies like Bitoin, Litecoin, XRP Ripple, Dash and Ethereum.
    • Hundreds of quality slots, poker and crypto tables games to choose from.
    • They recently added a high-quality crypto sportsbook that offers betting lines on every major league, including the NFL, NBA, NHL, English Premier League, UFC/MMA etc.
    • There are also lost of live casino games offering blackjack, roulette, Texas Hold'em, baccarat and more.
    • Fast withdrawals and good quality customer support via live chat or email.

How do cryptocurrency casinos even stop gamblers from the United States? Can they track where you are sending your bitcoin from? I thought BTC was anonymous.

I am currently a player at mBit and Bitstarz. I play at both casinos often and I am from USA.

I don't think BetCoin accept gamblers from the United Kingdom or the USA these days, unfortunately. It's a shame because they also have a pretty decent sportsbook.

There have always been a lot of scammers in the online gambling world, even before cryptocurrencies came along. How there even more thieves around so you need to be cautious when choosing a Tether or Bitcoin casino to play at. Here are some red flags that I look our for when I playing at a cryptocurrency
    1. A legitimate online casino should be licensed and regulated by a reputable governing body. If you can't find any information about the casino's license or regulation, it may be a scam.
    2. A scam BTC or ETH casino may have a poorly designed or difficult-to-navigate website. Broken links, missing pages, and other errors can indicate that the casino is not investing in its website or its players.
    3. Scam crypto casinos may offer bonuses and promotions that are too good to be true, such as extremely high bonus amounts or free money without any deposit. These may be bait-and-switch tactics to lure players in and then make it difficult to withdraw their winnings. If it sounds too good to be true, it likely is.
    4. A legitimate stablecoin or bitcoin casino should have a customer support team available to answer questions and resolve issues. If you can't find any contact information or the customer support team is unresponsive, it may be a scam.
    5. A scam online casino may make it difficult or impossible to withdraw winnings, or may impose unreasonable fees or restrictions. If you encounter any payment delays or problems, it may be a scam.

I can see this thread is a little old, but I’d like to drop in and say that I haven't delved much into the world of online casinos myself, that’s why I can't provide specific recommendations. There are some shady sites out there, so it's always a good idea to do thorough research and read reviews from trusted sources to find a reputable and secure option. However, I've been exploring various ways to earn extra income online, and one thing I've found enjoyable and potentially profitable is playing bingo games online. It's a fantastic way to not only have a great time but also earn some extra cash. I've always been a fan of Bingo, and combining the joy of playing the game with a chance to make money is a win-win in my book!
