Those of you that use traditional bookmakers like Bet365 and Paddy Power are no doubt aware that you can watch a wide range of live sporting events for free from their website or betting apps. Unfortunately BTC bookmakers do not currently live stream horse racing or European soccer but we are glad to report that BetCoin have started to live stream eSports via their newly updated sportsbook client.

eSports fans can now bet in-pay while watching Starcraft, DOTA2, Counter-Strike and other esports events at BetCoin. Hopefully if this proves popular, we will start to see bitcoin bookies live stream a variety of different sports.

I think they are the first. I don't think CloudBet or Nitrogen Sports live stream any sporting events. Live sports definitely drive in-play betting so it'll be interesting to see whether they can secure the broadcasting right for some live sporting events.

How long those these live stream last? Don't these games go on for half a day or something? I've read about players dropping dead at their computers in South Korea and China.

I don't think the tournament games go on that long or they wouldn't be commercially viable. My guess is less than an hour.
