EDITORS UPDATE (MAY 2019) - The BetCoin casino and sportsbook is available in the United State of America again. You can read our reviews of each here...

    BetCoin Casino Review

A couple of weeks ago we reported that had decided to terminate their online poker operations following the acquisition of the gambling operator by Coin Gaming Limited. This was a blow to crypto-currency poker players because BetCoin was one of the few bitcoin-only poker rooms with decent traffic due to the fact that they shared a tournament player pool with sites like Americas Cardroom and Blackchip Poker. Sadly they have now they have updated their "Terms of Service" to say that they will no longer accept players from the United States of America...

"Players from Iran, North Korea, Syria and the USA and any country where our service may be illegal are prohibited from playing real coin wagering games at and will be blocked from access to real money gaming at the website. If you are a citizen or resident of one of these countries or a country in which our services would be illegal and we determine you have played in violation of these terms, we reserve the right to close your account and refund your balance without notice moving forward. If you violate this strict rule more than once we reserve the right to close your account and seize all funds."

This is an unfortunate turn of events because BetCoin were one of the first bitcoin gambling operators so it's sad to see them turn their back on the ethos that cryptocurrency gambling should be truly global.

this is a crying shame. the best and most popular part of the betcoin site was the poker room. why buy the site, if you're only going to shut down the poker room after and block players from the united states afterwards. personally i don't see the point in having a crypocurrency gambling site if you're not going to accept players from every country on the planet. that's the whole point of censorship resistant transactions.

I'm very sad to see the BetCoin poker room get shut-down. They were by far the best non-KYC/AML poker room because of their tournaments. Hopefully someone will fill the void because there isn't enough traffic at Nitrogen Poker or Seal With Clubs for me.

If you want to play with crypto and you are not interested in doing any form of KYC then your only real option is the poker room at Nitrogen Sports

I'm based in the USA and I use the BetCoin sportsbook so I don't think this is true any longer.

You are correct, BetCoin are once again accepting gamblers from the United States at their bookmaker and casino.
