Betting Partners are one of the biggest affiliate programs around. They've got thousands of active gambling affiliates who promote their major brands Bovada and Bodog. Bodog caters exclusively for sports bettors and gamblers in Canada, while Bovada focuses on the United States. In an email to their affiliates they have announced that from June 2016 they will only be paying affiliates in bitcoin. Obviously not everyone is happy with this and many of the affiliate gambling forums are filled with angry rants from Betting Partners affiliates who do not want to receive the digital currency. It will be interesting to see how this experiment unfolds.
I wonder how these gambling sites are coping with the recent btc price fluctuations? The price of bitcoin can deviate by a $100 dollars in just a few hours.
I guess the key is to send the bitcoin to the players account as soon as they've purchased them. If they leave the btc sitting around they might depreciate or appreciate quiet a lot in just a few hours.
