If you want to play cryptocurrency poker on our Android or iPhone, Bovada poker is one of the best options. Unfortunately, the bitcoin-friendly poker site is currently only available in the United States and a number of Latin American countries, including Brazil, Argentina and Colombia. Up until recently the Bovada iPhone and Android poker software was pretty basic because it only offered rings games and their speed poker but we're glad to report that they've now upgraded the Bovada app to also offer tournaments. Here's what's currently available if you want to play mobile cryptocurrency poker at Bovada in the USA and Latin America..
    • Game Types: Both Cash Games and Zone Poker are available
    • Holde'm, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo can be played on mobile.
    • Bovada Poker is compatible with all tables and smartphones running iOS or Android.
    • Jackpot Sit and Go tournaments with a buy in of $7, $15, $30 and $60 and these have jackpots of up to $72,000.
    • Wide range of Sit & Go tournaments, including 3 Table, Nightly $4,000 PLO and Satellite events.
    • Both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash accepted.

  2. they also added multi-table tournaments to their mobile app but they are a little hard to find. you need to click on "tournaments" from the main menu and then you'll see the MTT lobby. there are a variety of tournaments filters that allow you to display tournaments based on buy-in, limit, game type and tournament type. works pretty well on an iPhone X from my experience.

Thanks for the update, we missed that scheduled tournaments were added to the Bovada poker app. It's a bit strange that they keep them so hidden in the app.

it's about time they finally added tournaments. i remember playing tournaments about 6 years ago on partypoker and the pokerstars app. what took them this long? between the sportsbook and casino bovada must be making billions of dollars every years. reinvesting a few hundred thousand into their poker software seems like a no brainer, especially since everyone uses smartphones now.

I agree that they took their sweet time but the mobile tournaments do work pretty well. It's also worth remembering that Americas Cardroom still don't have a proper poker app despite being on one of the biggest mobile poker networks.

Until November 2018 real money poker players from the state of New York were blocked from playing at Bovada Poker. We are happy to report that that restriction has now been lifted an New York States players are welcome at Bovada once again.

I'd love to play Bovada poker on my iPhone. Whey don't they open their doors to players in Europe? Poker rooms full of USA players tend to have very soft competition and there's always plenty of fish.

Poker players in Europe can play at PokerStars, Full Tilt, PartyPoker etc so I suspect there would be too much competition. There are probably legal reasons too for Bovada not operating outside of the USA.
