UPDATE: FortuneJack removed their real money poker tables. For a full list of the best cryptocurrency poker sites, visit our poker page https://www.bitcoingambling.io/poker.html

Fortune Jack is one of the most successful and recognisable brands in bitcoin gambling. Their casino is probably the best known "Provably Fair" casinos out there and is considered to be one of the safest places to gamble your bitcoin. They're are now branching out into the world of online poker following the launch of a poker client. Here's what we know so far...
    • Fortune Jack poker is a flash-based "Instant Play" poker client that can be played from the browser of any PC or Mac.
    • Play No Limit Texas Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha or 7 Card Stud bitcoin poker.
    • Rake is 4% for cash games.
    • Play regularly and get up 40% rakeback bonuses.
    • Fortune Jack run 20 mBTC hourly freerolls and 100 mBTC daily freeRolls.
    • Low traffic poker room with most of the action at the freeroll tournaments.

I'm guessing the competition is super soft here because it's a casino. Anyone have any positive or negative experiences to share?

The client if Flash based so it doesn't work on my iPhone or iPad. If you want to play bitcoin mobile poker on an iOS device then you should play at Nitrogen Sports poker.

Worked OK on my Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet once I installed Flash.

Good to know. Has anyone tried playing on an iPhone or iPad using Photon, Puffin, CloudBrowse or another flash enabled iOS browser?

I tried on a Samsung Galaxy 7. TD;LR Takes to long to load and it's not properly optimized for a smartphone so was difficult to play. The Nitrogen Sports mobile site works better and has more traffic.

Fortune Jack have now added private tables so you can organise online games between you and your mates.

Isn't 4% rake a little high for a poker room that only accepts bitcoin? What is the rake at Seals With Clubs?

Yes, the dream of 1% rake that was originally promised by the first bitcoin poker pioneers is dying. The simple fact of the matter is that most bitcoin poker players are happy to pay 4% for the convenience of being able to cash-in and cash-out quickly and easily from the USA.

Agree. I don't mind paying 4% at a major poker room like BetOnline or Americas Cardroom. These sites have a ton of traffic and their poker software is pretty good too so I'm OK with paying a little extra. FortuneJack is a LOW traffic poker room who's poker client is good but not great so there is no way I'm going to pay 4% rake. I'd rather give my money to Seals With Clubs.

Has the traffic improved here? It was hard to find a game at higher limits last time I checked.

A little but there's usually only a few dozen players online at any one time. It's unlikely to increase dramatically because more and more major poker rooms like Americas Cardroom and BetOnline now also accept bitcoin.

i agree. pure bitcoin gambling sites like nitrogen and fortunejack will have a hard time competing with major poker rooms like ignition and americas cardroom because the two most important things about playing online poker is the quality of the software and the traffic at the site. the major bitcoin friendly poker rooms have the edge in both of those areas.

FortuneJack temporarily removed their online poker room but we're glad to say it's now back.

The current version of FortuneJack poker requires Flash so it's unlikely you'll be able to play it on most smartphones and tablets.

It also sucks compared to the oder version of their poker software. Gone are the tournaments and ring games. They've been replaced by crappy casino style poker games now.

most of the crypto poker players have migrated to the major high-traffic poker rooms like betonline, americas cardroom and bovada now that they have begun accepting ethereum, bitcoin and litecoin. there is very little incentive to play poker at fortune jack considering they probably have less than 100 players at the tables so i don't blame them for removing poker as an option.

Correct, Seals With Clubs only have about 50 players online most of the time which makes it too niche for your average online poker player who's looking for plenty of action.
