Some of you might not be aware that a new crypto-currency was born on the first of August 2017, called Bitcoin Cash or alternatively Bcash. Since the new coin is a hard fork of Bitcoin, it means if you owned bitcoin before August 1st, you also now own an equivalent number of Bcash providing you are using a wallet that supports the Bcash chain split. I know both the Trezor and the Ledger Nano S hardware wallets both allow you to claim the free coins. I'm not sure if any of the Android or iPhone wallets do. At launch the price was about $300 but over the weekend it spiked to $800 so I liquidated a few coins from my Ledger and it was a pretty easy process.
