Most offshore online sportsbooks tend to keep a very low profile, especially when they are servicing sports bettors in the United States. This is also true of bitcoin gambling sites. That is why we were pleasantly surprised to come across this interview with Carlos, the content manager of Nitrogen Sports, in a Nigerian newspaper of all places. Here are the key points incase you don't have time to read the full interview.
    • Thanks to bitcoin, Nitrogen Sports is able to do things that traditional bookies cannot do. Sports bettors at Nitrogen can deposit/withdraw instantly and their payments do not require the approval of a central banking authority.
    • Nitrogen make money on their poker room, sportsbook and casino games by charging a fixed commission that is one of the most competitive in the industry.
    • As bitcoin grows in popularity as a currency, it will become increasingly easy to buy/sell and use the world's most popular crypto-currency.
    • Nitrogen Sports opted to use BTC when they launched back in 2012 because it was (and still is) the most widely used crypto-currency. They are also keeping an eye of other privacy focused crypto's like Monero and Zcash.
    • Nitrogen Sports describe themselves as the "future of betting" because they are constantly refining and improving their gambling products.

  2. i love this book. large betting limits, good support and they grade events faster than their competitors. they could run a few more promotions and add a deposit bonus though.

I would love to know what percentage of deposits at sportsbooks like 5Dimes, The Greek and Bovada are now made with bitcoin. That would be a real test of the currencies popularities.
