Which crypto-currency do you use for online gambling?

I only use bitcoin for online gambling. I bought some Monero but then I decided that it was better to hodl it rather than spend it on Alpa Bay or at a casino.

 

I don't like to see crypto's like Ethereum and Litecoin start to erode bitcoins advantage. I really hope Core devs can agree on a scaling solution soon.

 

Will any of you guys be using Bitcoin Cash (Bcash) as your primary gambling crypotocurrency?

 

I tried to use it but a lot of the time it takes 6 hours for a block to be mined and then we go though phases where it only takes 2 or 3 minutes for a block to be mined. Bcash is just too unreliable. If I need to use a different cryptocurrency, I use Litecoin.

 

during the segwit2x hardfork i'll probably switch to litecoin because the bitcoin chain might be unusable for a few days if miners play games.

 

Bitcoin fees are super cheap right now and most transactions confirm in the next block so there is no point in using any other cryptocurrency.

 

Bitcoin for me right now, will maybe try other coins sometime

 

Those of you that use Bitcoin Cash, what are you using now that it has split into BTCABC and BTCSV? Are you confident enough to move your coins right now seeing as there is no replay protection.

 

It must be a bloody nightmare for bookmakers like CloudBet who started to accept Bitcoin Cash. They probably have customers depositing their Satoshi Vision coins now to the wrong address. What a nightmare. Nitrogen Sports were right not to add Bitcoin Cash, it causes more headaches than it is worth.

 

Bitcoin transaction fees are on the rise again so I wouldn't be surprised if we start to see more online gamblers using alt-coins like Litecoin over the next couple of years.

I think long term, most gamblers will simply use the Lightning Networks because transactions are free and fast.
