Has anyone claimed their Bitcoin Cash / Bcash free coins?

    Some of you might not be aware that a new crypto-currency was born on the first of August 2017, called Bitcoin Cash or alternatively Bcash. Since the new coin is a hard fork of Bitcoin, it means if you owned bitcoin before August 1st, you also now own an equivalent number of Bcash providing you are using a wallet that supports the Bcash chain split.

    I know both the Trezor and the Ledger Nano S hardware wallets both allow you to claim the free coins. I'm not sure if any of the Android or iPhone wallets do.

    At launch the price was about $300 but over the weekend it spiked to $800 so I liquidated a few coins from my Ledger and it was a pretty easy process.

    Yes, I cashed mine in for $300 right after the hardfork and I was kicking myself all weekend for my stupidity when the price soared to $900. I shouldn't have been so greedy and kept a few just incase. I guess I really expected the price to go though the floor when people started dumping.

    How do I get my free bcash? I have most of my btc in the blockchain.info and breadwallet phone apps because they are gambling friendly.

    Both of those wallets allow you to claim your free Bitcoin Cash. Just read their blogs posts sections and you'll find instructions. I already got my free Bitcoin Cash via the Trezor and KeepKey wallets.

    i sold mine for $400 but i wish i waited a little bit longer now because the price has gone up to $1,400.

    a few months ago each bitcoin cash was worth about 0.13 bitcoin. today it's only worth about 0.07 so they've lost almost half their value against btc. i predict the price will probably drop to 0.01 in the coming years so i'd sell now if i was holding any.

    The real question is has any claimed their Bitcoin Cash Satoshi Vision (BCHSV) coins after the split? The interesting thing is that both coins BCH and BCHSV are worth less combined after the split.

    Roger Ver has a Bcash faucet but you can only claim them if you install his wallet. North worth the hassle for 5 cent worth of Bcash.
