Is it legal to gamble with bitcoin in the USA?

I think we are going to see a lot of flip flopping with most governments about what BTC is once second layer payment solutions like the Lightning Network start to appear. Right now bitcoin is digital gold but once we can start sending transactions for free and instantly with LN, it will also become a payment method and governments will need to update their laws to reflect this.

 

Once the Lightning Network launches, making payments with crypto will become so normal and popular that it will be impossible to ban bitcoin.

 

Where can I find a lightning network app for my iPhone? I'd like to give it a try?

 

if you read the terms and conditions of most crypto gambling sites, they say that it is your own responsibility to follow laws in your own country and jurisdiction. they are basically saying that it doesn't matter if it's illegal or not, they'll accept you.
