So far I've played at Seals With Clubs and Lucky Flop poker and I've been pretty disappointed with the amount of action at the tables. Which bitcoin poker rooms have the most traffic and not just at the micro-stakes tables?
Bitcoin poker is still finding its feet so many of the poker rooms that only accept bitcoin don't have traffic to compare with the likes of PokerStars, 888 or Party Poker just yet. BETCOIN POKER - BETCOIN.AG (NOW CLOSED) Betcoin only accept bitcoin but they differ from many other bitcoin poker rooms because they share tournaments with the Winning Poker Network so they share the same tournament player base as Black Chip Poker, True Poker and Americas Cardroom. It has its own cash tables and while the numbers are relatively low at present, they're going fast. There's usually about 50 real-money players online. Read our full Betcoin Poker review. AMERICAS CARDROOM - AMERICASCARDROOM.EU Americas Cardroom recently added bitcoin to their cashier. As part of US-facing Winning Poker Network you can expect cash players to average around 1,000. At peak times it's closer to 1,500 real money players. BOVADA POKER - WWW.BOVADA.LV Bovada Poker now accepts both bitcoin, bitcoin cash, major credit cards and bank transfers. Their real money ring games average at around 1,500 players but go as high as 3,500 at peak times. Bovada welcomes real money poker players from the U.S and any Latin American countries, while Australian poker players should check out their sister poker room called Ignition Casino.
now that the major online poker rooms have started to accept btc i wouldn't be surprised if bitcoin only poker sites like seals with clubs shut-down. they simply can't compete with just a couple of hundred players.
seals with clubs only charge 2% rake though so i think there will always be an audience for these type of sites. regular online poker rooms with their kyc departments can't compete with those rake rates.
Unfortunately, Seal with Clubs (SwCPoker) only have about 25 players at the tables these days. Traffic has dropped off a lot over the past year.
Like Seals with Clubs, they had a decent amount of traffic before bigger poker rooms started to accept BTC. Now you'll be lucky to find a handful to real money tables. Traffic is so low that even PokerScout don't list them so there are definitely better options for bitcoin poker.
The new BTC friendly Ignition Casino poker room is now probably the busiest online poker site for US players.
I'm sure it had something to do with the US government. While poker was undoubtedly profitable for Bovada, their main income is from sports betting. They probably didn't want to risk getting shut-down and losing this revenue stream so they decided to sell off their poker operations.
No. Like Bovada, Ignition Casino only accept new players from certain states in the USA. If you want to play poker with bitcoin in the UK then we would recommend you give BetCoin a try http://www.bitcoingambling.io/betcoin-poker.html
Traffic is pretty low at Nitrogen compared to sites like BetCoin and Ignition. At Nitrogen you'll usually find between 20 and 60 players at the Hold'em and Omaha cash tables. Tournaments are busier, especially the free rolls.
BetOnline are part of the Chico poker network, which is the third most popular poker network after Ignition and the Winning Poker Network (Americas Cardroom, Black Chip). You'll typically find 1 to 2 thousand players online and unlike Ignition, BetOnline is a global poker site who accept player from every country on the planet. You'll find plenty of more info here http://www.bitcoingambling.io/betonline-poker.html
These traditional offshore poker sites probably have the highest traffic http://www.bitcoingambling.io/crypt...-rooms-accept-bitcoin-other-crypto-currencies
Sadly from the 25th of December 2017, Betcoin poker will not longer be available https://forum.bitcoingambling.io/threads/betcoin-ag-to-close-poker-room-on-christmas-day-2017.315/
i heard that betcoin poker reopened under new management but they are a bit shady. probably best to avoid and stick to the better know poker brands.
I just paid a visit to Seals With Clubs 34 players online at the moment despite now have a client for PC, Mac, Android and a a browser-based HTML5. Hard to see how they can keep going with such little traffic.
